Painting Wildly on a Sunday Morning

Today I said, forget it, to realism.  There is a lot of paint here, a lot of layering and these were fun to make.  Is it a new direction?  I don't know.


  1. I originally read the title as "panting wildly on a Sunday morning"!
    Sack that beautician, but hire that painter.

    1. Yeah, she only got highlights on one side! I've just finished a self portrait in this style too. It's a bit addictive and I've been painting so much today I should be panting! xoxo

  3. I love these two! The first one (mother & daughter) feels very intimate. I like the eyes of the daughter, they look so trusting (like eyes of the children ought to be).
